Rogue Traders

Working with students from the University of Worcester's Digital Arts Centre, we produced this video on behalf of Trading Standards and the Police Force.

The aim was to raise public awareness and to help combat doorstep crime; we interviewed victims of crime, which meant ensuring compassion and sensitivity at all times. The film is currently being used at training sessions and community meetings throughout the Midlands area, and ran on the Smooth Radio website nationwide during Rogue Trader week. It has been very well received, with reports of bringing tears to the eyes of experienced Officers. Thanks to Ross Hannis and James Macey, and especially Andy Jones for his tireless editing. We were all touched by the stories of these people and were very glad to help raise awareness of these issues. Due to the sensitive nature of this film, it is protected.
