The Hive

Her Majesty the Queen accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh officially opened The Hive in July 2012.

A joint venture between the University of Worcester and Worcestershire County Council, The Hive is an amazing £60 million library that will increase the learning resources, technology, study and social spaces available to the University’s students and the people of Worcester. We were excited to be asked to design and install the descriptive typography at the Hive – I’m quite sure that the Queen read every word and appreciated the choice of typeface, kerning and leading (well, maybe not).
